肌の再生医療とはご自身の線維芽細胞を用いた医療です。この線維芽細胞による肌の再生医療めには、細胞を操作・調整するための施設が必要不可欠です。当院では線維芽細胞の培養を2004年創業の再生医療のリーディングカンパニーであるセルバンク社に依頼しています。セルバンク社は、2015年11月に厚生労働省より特定細胞加工物製造業許可を取得しています（施設番号：FA3150017）。
生産拠点は東京都中央区勝どきにあり、大規模CPC（Cell Processing Center）にて、再生医療を提供する医療機関の依頼を受けて、細胞加工物の製造、保管、輸送の受託業務を行っています。
線維芽細胞の培養は再生医療等安全性確保法のもと、GMP準拠の厳しい品質システムの管理下で行っています。CPCは高度に管理された空気調整設備により、高い清浄度を確保しています。細胞の取り違い、交差汚染、微生物汚染を防止して、高い品質の細胞加工物を提供しています。CPCは24時間稼働の無菌室で、外界と遮断され、汚染を防ぐ為の様々な工夫を凝らしております。培養センターには5つの部屋があり、大きく3つの区域に分れています。 5つの部屋は各々固有の室圧にコントロールされています。メインとなる細胞調整室の清潔度がもっとも高く、室圧も高く制御され、外気の侵入を防いでいます。細胞培養担当者が作業スペースに入るには、まずは扉を開けてエアロック室(第1段階の清浄区域)に、次に前室(さらに清潔度の高い第2清浄区域)に入ります。そこからガウニング室、そして細胞調整室へと進みます。 この間、徹底した無菌操作を行います。
細胞加工業務に関わる作業者は、製造は製造管理責任者、試験は品質管理責任者の責任と指示の下、各作業を実施しております。作業内容はすべて記録書として文書化し、確認、照査、承認され、保管管理されます。こうした責任体制に加え、検体から試薬に至るまで、すべてがバーコード管理されており、記録は勿論ですが、指示と異なる検体を読み込むと作業が出来ないようにシステムで制限されています。
汚染防止するため、衛生管理基準を定め運用をしております。各部屋における更衣方法から手洗い方法、作業時における培養士の動きに関しても基準を設けています、また設備の清掃に関しても基準を設け、それを記録管理することで汚染防止を徹底しています。
安全な細胞を提供するため、品質保証システム（QMS）を確立しています。
培養した真皮繊維芽細胞は冷凍保管できます。若い時に採取した細胞をマイナス196℃のタイムカプセル「セルバンク＝細胞の銀行」で冷凍保管することにより、10年～30年後まで、いつでも老化した皮膚へ補充できるシステムです。健康な肌細胞を冷凍保存しておくことにより、今まで越えられなかった時間という壁を乗り越えて、例えば20年後に20代の頃の肌細胞を補充するといった、肌細胞補充療法を受けることができます。
厚生労働省の再生医療法の規定を遵守し、各種再生医療等提供計画番号を取得しております。再生医療を行うには、実施する治療ごとに厚生労働省が認可した特定認定再生医療等委員会でその治療の妥当性・安全性・有効性等について審査を受けなければなりません。同委員会で適切と認められれば厚生労働省に治療計画を提出することができ、はじめて治療を行うことが可能となります。当院は、承認された再生医療等計画を厚生労働省に提出し、各種再生医療等提供計画番号を取得した医療機関です。
